Thank you so much everyone for your kind encouragement and compliments. It sure keeps me motivated.

Hi Doug, I'd really like to have her ready by first of August barring any unforeseen setbacks.

Amazing eye for detail! This is definitely a treat to follow. Nice to have a partner that likes to sand, how lucky can one guy be! Looks great, Jim

Thanks to Johnny D. I picked up our exterior running lights from Kro-Built here in Reno. They're really nice guys and had no problem getting the side lights on special order.

Here's a close up of the little LED lights.

Great weekend, we got a ton of work done. First we did the last test fit for assembly and then installed most of the cabinets on the drivers side. Then we installed the passenger wall!

Image
This is the first shot of the tear actually assembled.

Image
The front cabinet installed with a temporary spar above it.

Image
With my brothers help we managed to fit my aft cabinets (they were a little off for sure). It's amazing how many tricks of the trade he has at his fingertips. Everything's nice and square now.

Image
It is unbelievably satisfying to have everything come together so well. Boy do these little trailers get strong fast! I'm mostly using Steve Frederick's shop manual as guide for the build and several members build threads too.

Image
I cut out the forward and galley cabinet doors then started in on the drawers. This is the galley drawer dadoed and ready to assemble.

Next up are the aft half-round drawers and cabinets faces.

Cheers,

Dave

Thank you Rudy. We did get more done this weekend, mostly on the cabinetry.

Image
This is the little drawer for our fresh water jug in the galley. We got this idea from our friends Debbie and Randy's Monstero.

Image
The drawer will be installed where the drawer slides are below the top drawer in the galley. I finished the drawer and installed it.

Image
Here's the upper galley drawer open without its face.

Image

Image
Lisa and I installed and fitted the aft cabin curved drawers.

Image

Image
Here's how they look open. They now only need to be filed and sanded.

Image
We got the headliner squared up, spliced and ready to be installed too.

More to come this week.

Cheers,

Dave

Tom and Dave you guys are both true craftsmen. Both of your trailers are real testaments to quality construction. I can only hope to attempt to build something like this some day. Jim
P.S. Dave nice job matching the grain on the drawer fronts!

Truly gorgeous! From the moment I saw the way you were doing the wall framing, I knew this was going to be a spectacular build. Can't wait to see this one added to the Hall of Fame!

Wow Guys, thank you so much for the fantastic encouragement! It really keeps my spirits high during those 'holy crap' moments.

Speaking of those times, we got the headliner in late last night and I hope that the spars will take care of some nasty gaps I've made at the joints. It was too dark to get good shots so I'll add them as soon as I can.

Thanks again,

Dave

On to milling the spars to size, finishing the upper galley cabinet then on to the tongue box...
