I also am pondering on how to make my subfloor useful for storage. I look forward to watching your build. Goodluck.

I guess your full basement makes this design the Class A of the Teardrop universe. Should be interesting to watch this design reach reality.

Ok, you gotta have a Yosemite Sam some place on it.

I am looking forward to watching your progress and experiences with it.

If you are going to place the plywood right on the foil, from what I have read that makes the foil useless. It needs at leas 1/4 inch air space to work. If i remember correctly

Yosemite Sam to me means more than the cartoon.

A story

Back in collage late one night a friend showed up at my apartment with shall we say a chemical enhanced reality. He was a might bit out of it and he looked up at the bit of stained glass over a the windows. ( it was an apartment in an old house that had been rebuilt into 4 apartments ). He pointed to the stained glass and said he saw "Yosemite Sam".

It has been a running joke since the early 70's with me and my roomie. We are still best of friends.

So in my book you have a few options in how to get Yosemite Sam in a build.

 Motivation, effort and going all in on the build - that's what I like to see! :applause:  :applause:

You're off to a great start. I hope the weather gives you a break so we can see sparks fly and sawdust made real soon.
