You're moving right along Earl. I'm sure this one will be just as nice as the Bungalette. :)

Well, got the ceiling in, cut the holes for the roof vent and the light fixture. Also started the framing for the rear cabin cabinets. Need to finish the doors for the headboard cabinet, add a few pieces of quarter round and do some finish work.

Hey Earl

I love that finish, is that cherry? I'm gonna get some quarter round trim for my build tomorrow.

Thanks Cliff and Larry.

Cliff, trying to be ready for October, and as you know, the weekends fly by! Not to mention, my business travel "season" is about to pick up so I need to take advantage of the time.

Larry it is Minwax "Gunstock" number 231. Think it hits somewhere between cherry and mahogany.

Hey Earl

Just checkin to see what you've done to the blue yonder lately. I haven't done much lately to the critter because of work but next week I'll be on vacation so hopefully I'll get some stuff done. :D hopefully.

I thought I recognized the Gunstock! It was a new color when I was building mine. I love this shade, my entire trailer is done in it!

Hey Larry, was just thinking of asking you the same thing.

It's coming along, I did manage to get the light installed, the interior bulkhead wall (foot board) and more framing for the interior cabinets. Playing around with fitting the petcool and galley layout.

I hope to get the galley laid out this weekend, and I'll post some new pics. Hope to see some pics of your work as well!

For all the work I did, thought I'd have more pics to share, however, sometimes there are a lot of little things that need to get done.

Here are a few pics of the more "noticeable" items.

Overhead light installed

Cabinet door frames built.

Center section of rear cabin cabinets will be left open, have it done with power outlets installed. My laptop fits right in there, which we will use for DVDs and music. The little shelf in the back will be the spot for when cell phones need recharging.

Thanks Guys.

Cliff, feel free to borrow whatever you like! That's part of the reason we share our builds!

The center section is about 19 inch wide, 19 inch deep and 16 3/4 high. Want to make sure I had plenty of room for the laptop. The depth allows me to push it out of the way when not in use. Also, the little shelf in the back will provide a nice spot for smaller things that need to be plugged in (cell phone, clock, etc).

Earl,

It may sound like a skipping record (if you're old enough to know what that is), but your teardrop continues to impress. I look forward to seeing it in the future.

Take care,
Tom
