Quarter Nelson "Stacker" finally finished

...ask your questions in the appropriate forums BUT document your build here...preferably in a single thread...dates for updates, are appreciated....

Dang! A guy tries to be helpful and winds up in the midst of controversy.

Lotza pics of the Half-Stacker 1/4 Nelson are in Roly's album. I think they are one and the same build with two different names??

Lotza pics of the 1/2 Nelson are on Gage's website.

Both are remarkable builds and excellent demonstrations of superb craftsmanship by a guy who can do absolute wonders with wood! I remember Roly greeting me when I first signed up, one top-notch guy I've learned a lot from. Thanks Roly!

Oh "I" know better than to question ANYBODYs craftmanship or abilities... The pics are worth a thousdand words and actually speak fer themselves.

Both men are TOP notch fellas "I" look UP to them from my humble ( anmd sumwhat limited ) build status.

Now I jus hope the rain doesn't deter anybody from the gathering. Imma put all my stuff together this mornin and be there by noon... if I have no mishaps or malfunctions. That would only put me there a little later.

The weather is jus part and parcel of camping .

canned o minimum wrote:Sorry to burst yer bubble Gage, but the pic that Gary posted is NOT the half Nelson. It is indeed the 1/4 Nelson.
 You need to go back and re-read my posting. I wasn't talking about the picture that Gary posted. So my bubble still has air, but yours?

PS: I got several pics of the 1/4 Nelson Stacker this weekend. Will try and get them posted later this evening.

Jack La Lane couldn't have done better...

I bet Roly's arms are TWICE the size they were before he came to the gathering...

That is so many levels of cool.... The shape, the detail, the utility of the wings/wheel chocks. There is soo much to look at of the design of this one that it went to the very top of the list of cool. Nothing less than stunning Roly. Way to go. I'll be studying your build pics as I'm going to need to build a single person camper soon.

I normally look at camper pics and mentally choose what I would have done different.... The only thing I would change on this one is to have that beautiful mustache carved out of wood and put under the window eyes on the front.

p.s. Thanks for posting those Gage.

:applause: OMG!! That's great! And to use a word that tends to get abused in the td world... It's so CUTE!!!! It kind of reminds me a little of a vehicle that would be in an animated feature with Mr. Potato Head. I love it!! Roly you are so creative!!! I hope to get to the west coast at some time to meet up with you in person. I'd love to meet the man with the mind that came up with this!

Hey Roly,

That is such a cool camper, great design, eye-catching, conversation piece and looks like it will great to camp-in, too! Again you've created a work of art! I really like the way it can stand up the rear! Very awesome!

Well, done Roly!
