Eric and Keri's Priceless Yesterday build

Postby Ewledoux » Thu May 26, 2011 1:55 am

We have picked a name for our tear or TTT. What makes it a tear? does it have to be shaped like a tear? Or is it the galley, weight? Anyway "Priceless Yesterday" that's the name. We will post as we go.

From my understanding if you can stand in it its a TTT if you can only lay in it its a tear  .

thanks, that I have not heard but it makes sense. Well a short person will be able to stand in it, it will have a galley. Lol... Home built tear-tiny travel trailer. :D

My guess is that this is what a teardrop is or is meant to be:

http://www.mikenchell.com/perfect_td.html

Anything that doesn't fit the above description and is too small to be called an RV might be a TTT. I think a TD could also be called a TTT but some Teardrop enthusiasts may take offense at that.

Makes it a lot easier for Santa to put his trousers on.

:)

And as far as I know I am the only one with a bottom door.

OK the photo shows a red gasoline can under your TD. Are you inhalling fumes through the tube into your trailer? Or have you gerry rigged something? On second thought maybe you should not answer the question.

I have a floor storage in mine and all I would have to do is remove the plywood bottom and I would have an escape hatch too.

Mine started out as storage/foot well and last year I cut one side of it out and made a panel I can remove while I am seated inside. After my first camping trip with it I figured out how to arrange things inside and the side I left as was is a pretty comfortable chair. I sat out 2 nights of high winds in Death Valley in pretty good comfort.

Congratulation Eric and Keri

Just in time for the prim camping.

What did you christen it?

(edit) oops just read the beginning post. Have fun with the Priceless Yesterday. Take pics. I like that area up there. I spent many years in Moscow and wandering about. I would like to get back for some camping but alas work seems to always gets in the way
