I made a couple of 8" spacers from rib scraps and put ribs every 8" except for one 14 1/4 gap for a Fantastic Fan. I sure hope those numbers are right because i dont have the fan yet.

Still havent sold the wife. She thinks its going to be like sleeping in a coffin. I think she will buy in the fist time we dont have to set up the tent.

Oh! I get it now! I thought you were selling a trailer or a wife; but, you mean the wife isn't sold on it yet/ isn't ready to buy it/ isn't certain she'll like it. HaHa!

Maybe if you camp in your driveway that first night? That might convince her. That way, if she starts to freak, (I doubt she will.) she can go back in the house and climb in her regular bed.

You're making good progress! :applause:

Kirk looking good bud! You might check around and see if anyone rents a tear to camp in. There is a company here in Atlanta that rents a tear, an A-liner and a scamp either one for $65 a day.

The best thing to do is to find somebody willing to let you "try one on". My wife couldn't visualize it until we visited somebody who was further along than me.

I've had several folks come by to see mine.

I think it'll loose the coffin feeling for her once you put in some windows and then you can work on the window treatments together and hopefully by then or else you might have to go by yourself and tell her how much fun your having without her

From my wife's perspective our 6' wide is not too large. She is somewhat claustrophobic and would never be comfortable in a 4' wide. Windows can help. Mock up what you have with cardboard and have her try it and or come to a Tearjerkers gathering or find some one near you. to try it. It is not too late to scrap something to make changes before it is too late. One Tearjerkers chapter leader upon seeing ours said "my wife would sleep in that", she will not in his!

All good advice, thank you. Ill let you all know when she is "Sold". As for the fishing we spend most of our trips on lake Oroville, for bass and bluegill.

You could always put, "If you can read this, flip me over" on the bottom of that trailer!
