roam with a view first camping trip done

I'm a noob, so excuse my questions. Why the odd ball profile? The overall length of the trailer would be the same if the little trunk was eliminated and the end had a more conventional shape. There would be more room inside for storage or elbow room or whatever. Not being critical, just axin'.

I ended up with the shape so that I could use the two back windows if I would have went with a more conventional shape then it would'nt have allowed me any galley room plus the windows.
This way I get the top of the "trunk area" to act as my galley.

Ok, so sorry for being away so long, been dealing with alot.
I have been getting some progress made with the trailer though, I decided I didnt like the profile so I changed it back to my original design.

Yeah I saw the duck also, told my wife we should have a sign shop make us a set of eyes to go on the front windows LOL

btw I do like the shape of it now, makes more sense to make it longer imho

Jeremy,

I liked your old design, but the new one looks cool to. It really adds quite a lot of volume to your trailer without increasing the size very much. Nice use of space over the tongue. That tongue box will hold a lot of gear!

hey thanks everyone for the great comments, it really helps keep the momentum going. I should get some paint on it and the windows and doors all mounted this weekend. hopefully will have the cabinets and wiring done also. :twisted:
