Started my teardrop, progress so far is two afternoons and 4 evenings work. As you can see I had a bit of a disaster rolling the roof and wound up letting a piece in , if I did it again I would use marine ply instead of WBP for the roof.
Dimensions 8' x 4' x 5' wide
9mm ply sides and base
3mm ply roof

Great job Tim. You have an interesting rear end, (on the trailer) . What is the plan for the back end? This is the first time I have seen that detail.

Thanks for the positive replys, wood butcher the rear end was designed due to wanting the aesthetics of a full tear drop but wanting the added storage of a square rear end.

time for some update pics work has been getting in the way as it does, just doing a bit as when possible.

Window frames made from washing up bowls







Cut outs for the rear lights and registration plates





Door frame and lip for door seal

Skinned with glass cloth and first coats of primer







Hubs redrilled to the correct PCD

Template made for pilot drilling the hubs

Chassis all welded up





Body painted and mounted on chassis home made Fibreglass mudguards fitted.

Love the trailer wield up. Nice little shape on the camper as well.
