Lots of button-head rivets will help with the look, the bigger the better. I just put some 1/4" monel in another project (a dunk box) and they made it look very heavy duty.

Since I am doing a military type themed TD. I am thinking of something like this:

Which unit is this 225? I am at about the same stage in my build. I'd like to research this AC!

Thanks brotha! This would be perfect for my central air and heat idea.

No problem.

Wheels show up tomorrow. Stabilizers was just shipped today. So a few days for that.

I get off work on the 5th. So next week some actual building will be going on.

I've been toying with the design profile for a while. Since a lot of the stuff I want to do doesn't fit in the "classic" category, neither should the profile.

A profile like this:

Here is the layout. It will be modified a little bit.

Anyways, carry on...

With the military theme, you could save yourself the expense of skinning the whole thing with aluminum and use canvass instead. The bedliner should still stick to it and would reduce the build cost. Although I do like the idea of the aluminum with the rivets.

My girlfriend sent me a pic of what's waiting for me when I get home tomorrow.

The bottom box is a motorcycle frame. But the rest is for my camper.

Sweet! Nothing like visits from the UPS and the FedEx guys.

(During my build, I think my neighbors thought my wife was having affairs with all of the deliveries showing up at our house.)

Today, I went and picked up my welding machine out of storage. Then re-filled my Argon bottle, and bought a Fan-tastic fan, tongue jack and tongue hitch. Tomorrow I will go early and buy steel. Then Friday morning, I will start building the frame.

Vent fan: $185
Tongue jack: $45
Tongue hitch:$15

TCI: $783
