Good idea. Paint something else. Then something else. It'll get done.

Thanks for the encouragement rebapuck.

Put the hitch on the car this morning, and primed/sealed the passenger side of the trailer with Kilz. After which my wife had the audacity to describe my smell as "ripe". How rude.

Finally! Cool weather. Getting back in gear.

Finished painting of both sides for now. May put another coat on later.

Drug the old Pontiac Aztek air mattress out of the attic and it fits like a glove.

Image

Laminating the FRP skin. Even though this FRP is supposedly "Silver", it's way too white. Will try some of the spray for the trailer on it but will probably need to roll it with silver at some point.

Looking forward to showing you the flexible trim I found for the edge of the roof next. It may be the only real contribution I ever make to this forum.

Looking great so far. Man that is gonna be one huge galley.

For the trim are you talking about the Pcv style window trim? Someone a few months ago use it and it looking good so far. still waiting to see how long it holds up.

This is the stuff. http://trim-tex.com/product_catalog.php?cat_display=showproduct&id=161

One leg of the plastic angle is 'rubberized' for lack of a better word. It bends around really tight curves with no buckling or stretching, no heat gun necessary.

I'm going to do a separate post on it with pics and more details, plus where to find it later today in the tips section.

Putting on the first piece. If you look close, you can see how the shorter leg is attached to the larger.

Mitered a frame for my removable kitchen counter. There are some screws beneath it blocking it from dropping through.

Decided to use the last of my titebond.

Then used screws to suck up frame to plywood

Thanks Ron, will do.

Life has been scheming to take up all my time lately, but I managed to get a tiny bit of hatch framing done today. Hope to have more time over the holiday.

You need to keep us posted on how that trim works out. As long as the sun does not destroy it, it look like it might be an easy way to go. I know the LP should hold it along it length, but I just wondering about the very bottom. Turbulence from the car and trailer might work that bottom corner loose and allow the whole thing to fly off. Just thinking out loud, but I is there any way to secure just that lower front part so it will not work loose?

Keep up the good work. :)
