Our Canadian Dollar at $0.75 USD. does not help on paint products??
But, cost is not the factor that is keeping me from my target date......it is hours!

My current project, not a teardrop, is a 40 ford coupe and the painter now has the dash so I can see the color actually on something. It's one thing to look at a color chip, and another to see it applied on a larger scale. Hopefully it passes the test.
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

The dash is a good choice for a test sample. Lots of curves and reliefs to catch the light in different ways.

A number of years ago (wow more than I actually thought??) I painted my friends 37 Buick coupe interior, the color he thought he wanted the car.
He never said, but after it was painted, I don't think he liked it (it is still that color today) but the car ended up being primered in a tinted red primer for a few years, then
a tinted purple primer for a few more years, then black primer for too many years, that has now faded to a grey..... as it has been too many years? Oh, we flamed it after it went black just to change things up a bit, But the original orangy red interior color still looks shiny and new.
Anyway, color is always hard.......and not everyone has the same tastes. Green is really hard  , as you either love green or hate it. And there are two groups; those who like blue greens and those who like yellow greens? I am close to the middle on the the yellow......True Green! ;)
Hopefully the paint will inspire me to pick up the pace a little. :NC

Well, we are back from a couple of early season Gatherings with some super cool new lights for Kermit.
There are couple weeks of Farm Chores ahead of me before I can get back to work on this project.

Looking forward to seeing it in a couple months, Brian !
I just picked up the road lighting for mine at Princess Auto. Every time I go there I seem to 'lose' a couple hours and a couple hundred bucks
How's Ms Piggy doing ? She's wearing her miles well ?

MP just loves the open road! ;)
She got to take another Teardrop friend over the 100 MPH mark while traveling together over the high desert in Oregon.
We also did a pass together in California where our friends wife noted that their GPS indicated we were doing 103 MPH while passing some trucks together.
Towing speed limits in California are a crazy 55 MPH ...........who can go that slow?? Maybe in a Walmart parking????
I really hope to get back at Kermit before the Farm Gathering if I can get all my "Farm" chores done by then.
How is your trailer coming? Is it ready to go?
Time is going by so fast.
Brian
PS
I just brought back some cool LED lights and switches I purchased on eBay for Kermit.

Where does time go?
Walked by Kermit in the shop yesterday and realized it was the end of February already, and no work had been done on my trailer in almost 11 months.
So, I blew the dust off and got reacquainted. ;) Trying to remember where I left off and where all of the pieces I had laying on the floor underneath it where supposed to be welded in??????
Well, next thing I knew, I was right back at it as if it was yesterday that I had last worked on it. Got about 5 glorious hours of work in and really enjoyed the time! :)
Unfortunately, a friend stopped by and reminded me that I probably have another 1000 hrs to go???? :R Can't possibly be that much left to go?
Oh well.........I am going to try and get back at it on a regular bases, and eat the elephant one bite at a time!

How time can fly! I didn't realize it had been that long since you posted progress on Kermit either.

Well, it's about time!
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.
