Congrats! Looks good on behind your TV.

Again, I'm a few days behind. I get a VIN verification and then DMV on Tuesday.

Well no luck at the DMV today the location I went to was closed for renovations. And it wasn't even posted on their website, I've never been to a DMV here in Califorina but dang at least update the website so I don't waste my time. Lol end rant. But on a side note I did get it weigh today and she came in at 1420lbs just about what I thought it would, so with my camping supply's and sleeping gear I think I'll be just fine to keep it under my 2500lbs max. We're going to try a different location Monday morning.

Don't forget to post your weight info on Sharon's weight spreadsheet thread. That one might skew the average a bit. :frightened:

It's offical we are legal!!!

Wow is it such a relief to know I can just take my camper and go as I please.

My trip through the DMV was really easy ( I can't believe I can even say this) I had no problems I was in and out in about 2 hours, she gave me a VIN. and plates and we were on our way. They only wanted the paper work for the steel, axle and tires nothing else. Even though I had everything else ready to go that's all she wanted.

So relieved I was like a little giddy school girl lol walking out of that DMV.

They sure did, title and registration was only $40. Zero hassle, they really didn't even check anything all they wanted to see was if the lights worked and that was it. They didn't care about width or height or even really the weight she just asked me to guess on the weight, she even hinted that things would go much easier if I said it was under 1500lbs. She told me if it was over I would have to install trailer brakes and since I'm "done" she didn't want me to go through that.

Awesome 8) I hope it goes that smooth for me. Sounds like you got a nice DMV clerk. For some reason when I go to DMV they get every cent I have in my pocket.

I sent you a PM before I saw that you were able to get your trailer registered. You were lucky.
