No I didn’t use any fiberglass

So I feel I have made lots of progress since my last post.
I got the interior done.
laminate floor ,trim, molding, and stain.

I got the rear hatch built. I'm just waiting on the hurricane hinge and sheet metal so I can skin it and mount it.

I made a sink out of a stainless salad bowl

Image

I saved up enough allowance to buy some sheet metal.
2 pieces of 4x8x.040
1 piece of 5x10x.040

as for the steps I took to skin the trailer:
I used 3M 5200 marine adhesive "fast cure"
Image

I ran a continue bead all around the perimeter of the teardrop and all around the doors windows and vents. no glue in the middle. i let the glue cure overnight then trimmed the metal with a router flush trim bit. after that I installed the door window and trim.

I got the tongue box mounted which encloses my a/c, battery, and inverter.

more finished pics of the interior. I'm just waiting on my fan.

next I'm going to finish the back hatch and build fenders.

Great job!

Just curious. Did you test the tongue box on your vehicle and do a full radius turn to see if it hits? I have a short tongue as well.

Lots of great work here. Need to add comment on AC needing lots of space for exhaust and intake. (both for the outside of the unit) Air is pulled in from the sides, and out the back. This is the air used to cool the unit. Not the air being recirculated inside the teardrop. (Unless you open the vent then some will mix) The unit will overheat quickly otherwise. So look into a simple design to allow air flow. Thanks. Love the design

I ran it for 10 hours with the lid open and it performed well but I do intend to add a vent.

I haven’t done a full radius turn yet. I actually towed it around my block yesterday for the first time. I backed it into the drive way and got it pretty sideways but I didn’t check to see how close the box was.

I had a lot of spring back in my hatch when I covered it with luan and it didn’t fit properly. I rigged up some cable and turnbuckles to correct it.

I started finishing up the cabinets in the galley and I made a cooler pull out.

I went with the hurricane hinge for the galley hatch.
