Well I started making a form to bend the fenders on. I had some strips I laminated to hold the fender outline. What do you think at first I thought it was too big maybe not. It’s about 3” gap between wheel and fender. Image

I laminated the sides of the fenders and prevent some leftover 1/8” ply. Image

One fender basically done, still need another coat of black. Need some more wood for bending to do the second side. Image

Dang sweet piece of craftsmanship.

Your dust gates look a lot like my first attempt at them. I made mine out of MDF with nice tight clearances and you could tell when it was raining outside 'cause they'd swell up and wouldn't budge. :lol:

They are about 20 years old, still working pretty good. About ten hours into that fender, lots of sanding to make up for my “craftsmanship”
