You are very resourceful with what you have and are doing great work! And cabinet doors finish looks very professional. What kind and brand of paint did you use for those doors?

Thank you!
This is the paint-

It flows out pretty well with practice, but I sprayed all the doors with an $11 cup gun from harbor freight.

Most of my work lately has been pretty menial, so not a whole lot to show. I have managed to finish the last green cabinets, including the under-bed gear locker. I got all the sections for the slideout kitchen and storage compartment finished up and painted. Lighting in the compartments is next.
I also started building the cover/cabinet for the A/C. It will be on a drawer and slide out for use. The cover pulls up and folds to expose the A/C and allow it to be reached.

I paid $30 for the pair!!! The guy had no idea what he had. His brother is a “van life” guy and upgraded to Full River AGM and he gave them to him.
He told me I was his first call so he honored it, but had over a hundred calls that morning.

Closing in on it!

Got the diamond plate fitted and caulked across the front. Still working on the back...

Got the dinette finished! Now it’s up to the Mrs. to fancy it up with some cushions

Sink basin is finished. There’s a small pump with a pair of 3.5gal jugs (one fresh, one grey) below the sink

Need to get some more pictures, but since these were taken, I’ve wrapped up the front bird box w/ breakaway switch, new hubs, brakes, etc, plus wheels and tires.
All my cover plates, switches, etc are wrapped up. Fridge painted and installed...
Slideout for the kitchen is built as well.

Been busy, I’ll get some pics up soon! 8)

Well, pretty much done! For the time being, anyway. We leave Friday for a week and a half in it!
We took it for a test sleep in the driveway.
I haven’t gotten the kitchen finished yet, so this trip will still be like old times.

I’ve wrapped up lots of details!
The fridge is painted and installed. When operating on shore power, it runs as normal. When on inverter power, it is connected through a digital controller which reads the temp, and turns the inverter on and off as necessary, not just cycling the compressor. This will keep the inverter from running unnecessarily, conserving battery time.

Got the sink and faucet all plumbed and tested. It just draws from pair of 3.5 gal water jugs, one for fresh, one for grey.
Image

Got the trim fitted and caulked across the front and back, as well as a bumper built for the back end. I also built a pair of 2x4 stabilizers, which work great!

Got my pull out step mounted as well

The bed is super comfy! It is SUPER tall however. Lol. I had to add a step for my wife to get herself up there.

We still have all the little details to add, most of which we don’t even know we need yet, lol. We’ve never been trailer or rv owners before. We figure we’ll just add them as we find a need. I’m mostly concerned about having every potential tool that I could possibly need for this trip. We’re doing about 400 miles on day 1!

Well, we're doing it! We left NW Washington Friday morning, headed for Southern Idaho. The Trailer tows great! There are a couple little things I need to contend with like getting some stronger magnets on certain cabinet doors, and a better way to secure the fridge door.
We had difficulties with our TV overheating a bit going up the long mountain passes, so it was a little slow going. Temp was well over 90 most of the afternoon which didn't help. We were a bit behind schedule, so we ended up stopping for the night at the Wildhorse Casino in Pendelton Or. Just a big parking lot, but clean, quiet, and safe. and FREE! It was funny to be a fish out of water amongst all the huge ugly taupe swooshy stripe RVs.
Day two went far better, mostly because the weather was cooler. We left at 5am to get up the biggest hill of the trip, and got up with no troubles.

side note- I Weighed at a certified scale along the way, and fully loaded it's right at 3100 lbs. more than I wanted, but still light for a travel trailer. 8)

i get lots of questions and comments along the way!

Congratulations on finishing the build! This one looks big inside, is it 7+ feet wide?
