this modification build took about 4 months to do, worked on the trailer every day except on Saturday & Sunday until finished (5 days a week) I'm retired so I can invest in the time. This trailer IMO really made a transformation when I ordered it & when we picked it to all the work I done. Were quite happy with the thorough thinking things through how we wanted the trailer to come out & fit "our" method of camping & travels to resale in the far future. This trailer performs very well offroad in rough terrain, were usually on secondary National Forest Dirt Roads off the main dirt road 10 to 20 miles in. Creek crossing the trailer doesn't take on any water. What sold me on the Runaway brand was the waterproof membrain underneath the floor wrapped up on the sides walls, then again from the walls to the ceiling the joints are wrapped after construction & the glue, fasteners are attached for keeping out the moisture in those areas, then skinned over & sealed to the chassis. When I removed all the trailer lighting wiring to the tow vehicle I resealed all the areas I attached to. Runaway Campers wasn't too happy with the changes I made, but IMO it fits the vision Sally & I had for this trailer.

Sally & I are 95% offroad dispersed campers, 5% public camping sites.

What a delight this completely reworked trailer is!

An exact, custom design, meticulous, precise craftsmanship and about the best wiring you could ever hope to see all combine to make this tiny travel cabin a very capable and comfortable base camp wherever you park.

Thank you for sharing your masterpiece on wheels, it's absolutely gorgeous and I hope you both have years of happy memories together.

"Runaway Campers wasn't too happy with the changes I made, but IMO it fits the vision Sally & I had for this trailer." Once you buy it, it's yours to keep, chop, camp in & maintain in any way you see fit. It looks really nice, well thought out & workmanship looks 1st class. They should be happy with the job you did. Ask them to price the conversion you did, then sit back & smile when you find out what they would have charged. I like the planning & execution. Prefect for your needs!
