A 4x8 2nd build

Postby kokomoto » Tue Sep 06, 2022 3:31 pm

After I finished my 1st TD 5 years ago, my daughter asked me to build one for her. I told her if she finished college I'd build her a TD. She called me last spring, and said Dad, you better get busy on that teardrop!

So it's in progress. It's a smaller one based on my 5x10. I'm trying to build it light, so she can pull it with just about anything. The 3/4" plywood skeleton walls are being cut. I picked up some 3/4" EPS foam last weekend.

Tony helped me with my 1st build through this forum. I think he used the term overkill a time or two. This time around, his book is always open on my work bench.

Pictures to follow...

Nice bit of bribery ;)
I'll be done when I'm finished, if that's not fast enough, take a number.

Bribery would be more accurately applied to what universities call tuition. Pay us or you can't get the career you want.

In any case, I'm proud of her, and she's pretty stinkin excited about earning her own teardrop.
