He offers a set up so you can keep the water going back to the pump when you soap up.

I Have the shower attachment but never used it. So if you have a set temp you would not need to add cold to it so you do not burn yourself. my wife used it to wash dishes till it went out. We miss not being able to use it. now it sits. I had hoped getting a new battery would make the difference but no (not bought from Coleman but the battery store.

That's the way that my shower is set up. Without the return you use about twice or three times the amount of water. I only carry about 10 gallons of water, and it has to last a week or more sometimes. Where I camp water faucets aren't available. I could use filtered and sterilize creek water, but I seldom have to if I am conservative with my showers etc.
