I plan on using one of these, however I found a Zodi camping shower on clearance at wallyworld and got it so now I have to decide which one would be better. I like the Zodi for being an "instant" water heater, but it needs batteries and propane, the pump up shower I would use my existing water heating and fill the tank with the heated water.

any ideas?

I made one like the duck works one with a garden sprayer that I painted black and a spray nozzle from a kitchen sink sprayer. Works great and NO power needed!!!!!!!!!!

Garden sprayer tank (for pump up pressure) with kitchen faucet sprayer attached and heat water in metal bucket on campfire...

Any time camping you can have a hot shower its worth the effort... But am a little jaded by "instant heat" of stove or campfire over solar.... IF you want to take shower late just before turning in, seems to me the solar units may have lost some of the precious heat after late in day.....

Actually there was a time when we hung a 5 gallon metal bucket in tree and filled it with warm water (from campfire or stove) and soldered into bucket was a bung where the kitchen sprayer hose and spray head screwed into.... Privacy was (is) a bit of black poly sheeting suspended from adjoining trees ... Of course we "wilderness" camp so stuffy rules don't apply....
