The last checks on Compass Rose is the gas lines. There were a few small leaks that tightening up the flare fittings took care of and yesterday tried to start the water heater on both 120 AC and the gas. No problem with the 120 no spark with the gas. Today jiggled the connectors and it fired up. flame is however yellow and not blue as it should be. One of the problems may be the the two stage regulator which took a hit in the accident. The fitting from the propane tank to the first stage regulator is bent. We are a bit less than two weeks away from heading west and I need to get this taken care of.

Just replace the regulator, they're not very expensive.

Replaced the regulator, same problem, replaced a slightly kinked gas line, same problem. Took it to All American Coach in Toledo and the service manager blew out the spiders web and egg cases in the venturi tube, no charge!
