We're putting a small sink in the galley. Has anyone had any experiences with this brand of water pump? Or can recommend an economical choice?

I've used one of these in my home brewery for almost 20 years with no trouble.

About the same price as yours but Grainger stands behind the stuff they sell.

I don't know about "run dry" ability because I've never tested it with prolonged running without water. But it isn't a mag drive pump, so the pump doesn't rely on the fluid for lubrication, so it ought to be OK.
