Just got this for the trailer...Thought id try the igniter and the first twist and bang something inside broke...Oh great..right out of the box!

So I started unbolting stuff to see what happened and discovered how these igniters are put together..The end cap, holding the spring in, popped off the glue they used didn't hold....The spring seems pretty stiff for those little plastic tabs to hold it!

Got a hold of Back Country and they will exchange it...But the Quality of this mechanism.. :(

I have seen better retainer clips on automotive electrical connectors, which don't have a spring pushing against them.

Contacted Primus and sent them a picture of the broken part and got this reply:
(Hello Steve!
Sorry to hear about your problems. This should of course not happen. Please contact the store where you purchased it and they will be able to replace/repair your stove.
Vänliga hälsningar/Best regards

Customer Support.....Primus)

Then Back Country said they won't have any more in stock till spring so they are sending me a more expensive stove for an equal exchange...Camp Chef Rainier Camper Griddle/Grill/Stove Combo :)
