I can not think how many times I have heard "I drank out of the garden hose and I am..."

I have used one of the drinking water hoses, seemed to be the thing to do. Now I find out why. Testing finds various nasties, particularly for water left in the hose.

Good to know why I spent the money for RV drinking water hoses.

Real glad I grew up when you had choices of red rubber or black rubber hose . They all seemed to come in 25 foot sections because there were few people man enough to carry 50 feet at a time. No plasticizers and other nasty compounds just a plain rubber hose.

But, but.... Hose water tasted so good....
