My 21 gallon tank, located over the axle, which holds 19-20 gallons lasts for 3 days.
We usually fill up at camp, but have pulled the trailer with full tanks.
for trips where water isn't available we carry 7 gallon containers in the truck.

How many gpms is your shower?

DA,

It is between 0 and 3 gpm.

the pump is capable of 3 gpm. but the shower head is a water saver model (don't remember the gpm) connected to a valve which allows me to adjust the flow.
I've had this camper for 9 years so have forgotten many details, but i had it down to a measured 1.5 gallon shower.
The adjustable valve allows a "luxury" shower on the last day of camping, before we empty the tanks for the trip home.

If you are good at searching, I posted the exact test results here somewhere... :NC

I am actually putting my tank under my bed. Inside away from the cold air so that while i am traveling in the winter it doesnt have a chance to freeze
