Port o Potty enzymes / treatments?

Okay dumb question. I know there are a bunch of different tank chemicals / deodoroants. But I am wondering, aside from deodorizing the black tank, are there any bacteria / enzyme blends that also effectively liquify solids in the tank?

Not being too graphic here, but as anyone that has had to dump a port o potty knows, less solids, less splashback.

So what actually works?

My solution for that problem was to move to the bag system with cat litter. No liquid, no back splash

I don't know of any magic elixir. From time to time we do river trips and carry our poo in sealed toilets. When we de-rig we dump a couple of gallons of water in the dunny and by the time we bounce our way to the dump station, it's fairly well stirred up.

I dont know about "liquifying" it but adding a bag of ice cubes, before you drive to the dumping station, will break up any of the larger and settled bits.

How does peat moss work in a flushable chemical toilet to liquify solid wastes? Please explain.
