That.....is............AWESOME!!
There is just something about that design that just speaks to me. I would love to see some pics from the inside of it.

The best thing ( for me ) , this isn’t the end really , it’s only the end of a long test , the FS living outside all the time , through storms, our Hot Sun , torrential rains (daily) , passers by poking it … and has survived better than ANY other trailer we’ve ever had , and with the least amount of maintenance humanly possible … Years now , no leaks , no problems , just a little cleaning (washing the outside ) hoovering the inside , and fixing tiny Ant-holes chewed through 2 layers of 18 oz. canvas primer and paint ... :o All the “accessories “ stored carefully in my “Utility Room “ ready to load up … Most all NIB still awaiting duty …

The roof modification was my idea , so I didn ’t count that as “maintenance” … that or the drip edges either , whch turned out to be MANDATORY in our wet climate !!!

It’s been a great project ( made the wife happy too :o ) , and the only thing I’d like to try is a version for those “low “utility trailers” … something like this … MUCH easier to make … ;)

Another new challenge for the FoamStream … Ice ... :o Yesterday Ice and Snow fell from the sky and all over my trailer … :frightened: When all that stopped it was 30 F and everything was fine … another test … very rare chance here … Looks lke the Saints will be going to the superbowl

I think that contraption is left over from a Flash Gordon movie (most here under 60 won't get that)................So GPW, you had ICE in NOLA? Panic in the streets? Man, all you got to deal with - Heat, ungodly humidity, hurricanes, floods, oil spills, voodoo, Bobby Jindal (oh, you're done with him), and now you get ICE? When it's supposed to be your "easy" season?....Sometimes life just ain't fair :( ......jd

Not to worry , although it does occasionally snow or ice up , it only lasts a day , not a few months … likely we’ll be in Flipflops and T-shirts by Christmas … ;)

Glad you had no real issue with the snow GPW!

We had a good wet snow here, which the Bluebird can handle but it's parked under the eaves behind my shop (8/12 pitch) and when all the snow slides off that roof it is heavy! :frightened: I went out and put a couple poles in the camper to support the roof just in case.
Unfortunately on the other, south side of my shop is my raised beds with my beautiful lettuces still growing and some snow slid off the roof onto them and boy it really flattened those babies! The lettuce can take some snow but not hundreds of pounds of it!

Thanks for the picture of the Gospel Ark there, that thing is a piece of work! I would have loved to have seen it in person, and what's towing it!

Yup. Cold here too. Has not been much above freezing for two weeks. Just got sun again today following a skiff of snow last night. Merry Christmas. George.
