This is Clyde and I. He is a smaller than breed standard Chinese crested hairless. He is a ton of fun I honestly never thought I would like far less love a small dog as my last 3 have been 150lbs plus. (Two rotties and one Great Dane) but he is something else.

Same dog, this is usually how he falls asleep while on the couch.

I'm sad to say our little Fur Thing passed away last Friday at the age of 22. She was pretty healthy up until the last two months, but went into a slow decline. While Fur Thing could not be described as a friendly cat, she had her moments, and we miss her dearly.

So sorry to hear this. It is always a sad thing to lose a pet. :(

Always amazes me how these furry critters worm their way into our hearts and lives. Always so hard to see them go

22 years is a long run for a cat. When I lost my dear Tisha (many years ago now... she was a lap sitter...), my vet said that 23 years was the oldest cat he had ever had as a patient!

Take solace in the time and memories you had together, and know that someday you will be ready to share that same kind of love with another deserving furry friend. Not today, and not tomorrow, but someday not too far away.

We also have 5 cats and 4 dogs. Most of these guys are rescues. Bee is the only one who was purchased rather than adopted.

Oops...sorry it is the dogs and cats that are rescues...the parrots and hedgehog are not. Mouse was originally going to be used as a breeding hedgehog, but she ended up being too small so she was sold as an adult at a great discount. She is a cute little grump and totally nocturnal. She gets cranky when I wake her up...LOL. She is a fun pet though even though she makes huffing noises at me and does not appreciate her baths at all...she even tries to bite me when I trim her nails.

I've got two dogs and one cat and they all try to bite me when I try to trim nails. I now leave that to the groomer. The other cat we had that we had to put down over the summer would pretty much maul anyone who tried to trim his nails. We used to have him slightly sedated by the vet to trim those nails. The vet would trim them too. The nail trimming was free but sedation wasn't cheap...

Hi, Friends. I lost Daisy the wonder dog to surgery complications (flipped stomach) the last week of May. Nearly killed me. She one of two dogs of the many I have had through my life that I would have called perfect for me. She passed before I could get her to the Pet ER. At least she was riding in the truck -- something she loved to do. Later.

Bonnie , sorry for your loss ... sad news !!! :(

We lost the cat (Sam) a couple months ago after a long gradual decline ... 18.5 years old ... Emotionally draining, totally depressing ... I told the wife , at our age, after the dog goes , there will be no more pets ... We did our part , All of our animals over the years have been rescue or came to us out of nowhere...

Here’s a pic of Sam in his last days .... here he decided to finally take over the dog bed.... the dog was much surprised... :o

This is Cutie Paws. About the only time she pays attention to me is when she wants treats. Usually when I'm making coffee in the morning.
