I'm always leery of 'Swiss army' appliances... limited space, sure, and limited duty. For your use it should be ok though. Would that count as your upgrade / prepping for the season? If your track record continues it should mean another year when the foamstreAm sits in your yard!

Ned , Fingers crossed eh ! These Foamies seem really good at not falling apart while waiting for intended purpose... ;)
I already have a small toaster oven and coffee maker for the FS , we just thought this unit was “cute” .. wonder if anybody else had seen it ...

Rusty , may be online ... It would be nice to see it in person to check it out ...

Now being “thrifty “ I looked around at a separate coffee maker , small toaster oven and electric frying pan , which I thought would be cheaper if bought separately , and that really didn’t play out ... so no real savings buying separately ...

Ned, It’s just getting to the time in my life when we can actually travel again ( aside from just EVAC) , The wife retiring soon helps ....

While priming some masonite today to paint on , we noticed the second coat really went a long way to filling in the texture ( rough side ) , the third coat a was very smooth … Maybe a little more priming would produce a nicer SMOOTHER finish on canvas too …

I.... I did it. Finally got to the end of the thread. So, here's my obligatory "where's my trophy?" message. :D

Won't clutter up the giant thread with build details, as I (maybe prematurely) started my own build thread as soon as I settled on a base trailer for my first super simple, super cheap, super light foamie test build. But I will say I enjoyed reading (and reading... and reading...) this post and hearing about all of the bears and dogs and windy bridges along the way. :wine:

Amanda, you are now officially one of the foamie family. I dub thee a "foamista", a foamie in the first degree... I do decree. (Blaring trumpets, flags waving... big cymbal crash!)  :applause:

Well I have not camped in years it seems now. Still doing the horse thing with the granddaughter. But the Foamie is still out back and still holding up. Nothing, I mean literally nothing has been done to it and its still sound! We have been using it as storage for some of our saddles and other horse stuff. :wine:
