I got to see it in person at the gathering in Virginia Beach. One of the coolest campers there and the one that I can't get out of my head. I might have to build one myself…..

Tac422,

Met you guys in VB last week. Looking through all the build threads now, and am wondering if there are any design plans in there somewhere as far as dimensions of the sides etc. i couldn't see any in the design library or in Mikes thread. Any info would be helpful as i am excited to try to build one.

Thanks,

Dave

You’ll have to talk to Big Mike about some plans .... I’m sure he has some measurements around , although it doesn’t appear critical to get it Exact ... Unless you want to ...

Mary C.

sorry don't mean to hijack,

Dave, if you check out my build I attacked the front curve with a saw . no lines, no plans, just the saw and me...... The back curve was the brainy work of me and a pen. Wonder if this will work??? ok that looks like it, :worship: now cut!!!

Thanks for the compliments Everyone !
I haven't had time to reply, you see.... well, we've been out camping with some sidecar motorcycle friends ! :)

So we showed up at the campground looking like this, we got a LOT of attention !

and set up camp. We gave many tours, maybe it was the free popcorn ?
(I suspect there will be some new TNTTT members soon...)

We did tell them we really pulled it like this.

The HHR pulled it great, couldn't tell it was back there !

Dave,
I'd be happy to take some measurements for you, please let me know if there any in particular you'd like.

I just want a few basic measurements. The length and width and height of the trailer (foam box) and the length and the width of the door. I can play around within these measurements. Also, I am assuming that Mike used 2" foam. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,
I'll take some measurements tonight. Yes, 2" foam was used.

Sweet!

Thanks!

Almost have my Harbor Freight trailer put together. I need to pick up a larger socket wrench for the spring bolts, otherwise i would have most of it finished.

Going camping this weekend with the Buckeye and Liberty Bell groups.

The Big Pink seemed a little heavy last weekend when pulling it, so I figured it needs to be more aerodynamic.
These oughta help ....

Some 1" foam
120176

some leftover canvas
120177

Still have to paint ....
