Painting over canvas Creatively..

Postby RJ Howell » Fri Sep 13, 2019 3:05 pm

I wished to make my topper Camo'ed yet have not seen a way to do it and make it look good. So here comes the question for you creative folks, what have you done and how did it work out?

I made a mistake and used some of my stock green and it was way too floursent green! So I over coated it with a darker. With both being watered down (90/10 or so) it blended into something pretty nice. Now I'm debating how to proceed?

First thought was as I did my walkway and use my hand pump sprayer and apply different shades until happy. Then came the sponge painted wall I experimented with and like how that came out. The sprayer technic was tough to apply in areas I thought required, yet the sponge allowed me to use more creativity/color as I wished.

I talked my wife into helping tomorrow and having some fun with paint! 8) Sponge paint and roller to blend..

What have you done and how? Happy with how and result?
