I named mine Box Kite.

Because it looks like one and as a boy my dad took me out to fly one made by a freind. it was wood and cloth as big as my dad and when it took off it went right up and was so strong my dad could hardly hold on to it.

He never flew it a gain so I figured it was time for it to fly again.

I've decided to call ours "Jubilee" because the closer we got to finishing the more excited my wife became. We still have to paint. We're trying to come up with the scheme. Maybe some mural work. Another reason for the name is hopefully a more relaxed lifestyle.

My daughter called it Buzz Lightyear first, but she cant say it so she calls it Buzz Year. On this trip it kinda morphed to Capt Buzz Year and The Silver PEarl.

I called mine "Road Bum"
I had not had a haircut since 1995.
Had a long grey beard and in general looked like a bum.
Shaved a month ago, let my 84 year old Dad detail me last week.
Started to buzz the head, changed mind, hair dresser did what she could.
Remembered why I never got a hair cut.

The Desert Dawg

The name just seemed to stick. I live in the desert and dawg implys something with a bit of attitude, but no pedigree...more of a mutt. If it would have been a traditional teardrop shape I just couldn't have called it a Dawg. Besides, if I didn't call it the Desert Dawg I don't know what I would call it.

The one I'm going to build (looks that way now) is and going to be called the 'Eggdrop'. Long story but the short of it is when I saw the shape, it's the only thing that came up.

It just now came to me, but I've always wanted the name to play off our family name, so I voted for Family Name. It's going to be called "Divine Lite" and I hope to have a Northern Lights image something like this painted on the sides.....

TARDIS

Mine is named the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space)

A machine that moves through space and time. It's interior is much larger than it's exterior.

From Wikipedia:

The TARDIS[1] is a time machine and spacecraft in the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who. The name is an acronym of Time And Relative Dimension (or Dimensions) In Space.[2]

A product of Time Lord technology, a properly maintained and piloted TARDIS can transport its occupants to any point in Time and Space. The interior of a TARDIS is much larger than its exterior, which can blend in with its surroundings through the ship's chameleon circuit.
