It is the bumble because it is yellow and black with an odd shape.

My trailer is called When Pigs Fly. I told my family, when and if I can ever get a teardrop, it would be, when pigs fly. Never really thinking I would get one.

We're just getting started, but we're leaning towards "Just Chillin'"...coz we are the Frost's...Leo's avatar is Frosteez...so when we teardroppin' we'll be just chillin'!

Oh %$& im a sugar bowl!!

Hey, Looped:

Depending on your mood when you name it, maybe you should call it "The Teapot" or "The SugarBowl"
Or, if you plan on making more than one, it could be "Stout1", "Stout2", etc.

The Sponge

Postby BillandMarijo » Sun Aug 17, 2008 7:18 pm

We named our homebuild "The Sponge". Of course the reason is obvious. It keeps sucking up more and more money. Just when I think Im done, Marijo thinks of some other thing we need to do to her. And ya know shes not even painted yet. Last thing to do. Marijo wants the aluminum roof painted along with the sides and I want to just clear coat the roof and paint the sides. Cant agree. But Im sure shell wear me down and get her way. Thats usually the way things work at our house.
Bill ;)
Hope to see you on the road.

WindRose

Postby deceiver » Thu Jun 03, 2010 1:19 am

WindRose

I’m sure you know what a compass rose is. The N-S-E-W rosette that’s often printed on a map to tell which way is north? Well, long before the directions North and West ever existed Sailors used a windrose to delineate direction. They had the wind directions divided into segments with names for the winds. Today we use those names, tradewinds, Easterlies, etc.

This method of telling direction depended on ‘which way the wind was blowing’ so it was not very reliable. The sailors often deviated from their desired route and many a new discovery was made by accident using this method.

The idea of accidental discovery is appealing unless you have someplace you have to be. We don’t actually HAVE to be anyplace at any specific time or day as long as we can hunker down for the night each evening. WindRose, our teardrop camper has this christening just for that reason. We throw caution to the wind and see where it lands us. Of course our GPS helps us out a bit.

I wasn't going to name my camper, but you guys talked me into it... :o

I'll be calling mine "oldmtnfart"...I already own this handle from other sites online, like YouTube, etc.

Now, if I could only decide what colors to make the dang thing.

My Puck is named Reba. Not for Reba McEntire, but because she's an Eriba.
