Paul & Lynn's Tear Drop Name

Postby pauld3 » Sat Apr 14, 2007 4:24 pm

Paul was in the Navy for 8 years and while he was in there he was referred to as Paul-i-wog. Which eventually, and actually quickly, became Toad. Then he was Toad the remainer of his Naval career. Later, he drove semi-truck with his dad. His handle was ... you guessed it! Toad. SOOOOO I want to combine the idea of Toad and Tear Drop and We are going to name our tear drop: "Toad-drop Inn" Isn't that cute! I love it.

We named our Yoder Toter "Schmoopie."

You're Schmoopie! No, you're Schmoopie! (Seinfeld . . . )

Actually the name "Escape Pod" seemed such a natural for these trailers that I was really surprised to find that no one else was using it. Or at least no one who is using the name has commented in protest or otherwise. I was calling it the Escape Pod before the design was even started.

I think i was born to build a camper. My last name cant get any better for it. DeCamp. I going to use DeCamp as the name Ford is used. I want to come up with a name like maybe surfliner, or hollywoody, or maybe just wood. DeCamp Wood. Hmm. 8)

Aero-1 (there will probably not be an aero-2).. but my focus aside from a useful design, was light weight and an aerodynamic shape... so Aero-1 seemed like a good fit.

I found them at Mal-wart for a buck a piece so I bought two. One for the waggin and one for my neighbor.
Fun to play with, can make it say whatever you like.
Still makes me laugh.
