"Porta Cave" Said this at a car show about a tent and it just seems to fit. Because friends in the VW hobby call me Cave Man ( before the lizzard) and thats where a Cave man sleeps and its portable.

"Chubby" started out to be a cubby profile but the project took on a life of its own and made a left turn somewhere.

HEY CAVEY

I found the frame mounted swing away spare that converts to a table.
I stuffed the pics in my album If you want to see it !

I still can't figure out a name, or decide on a theme for that matter. I kept reading everyone else's answers saying, "dammit, why didn't I think of that?"
I'm sure something will come to me eventually. I may have to gather all my ideas and post a poll and let you guys decide.

The teardrop is pulled by a Pt Cruiser so PT Snoozer was only right.

I named mine "Time Traveler". Has to do with the interior. Trying to give it a vintage look with some modern touches. Might be silly to some, but I like it.

After being told by all that knew anything about Scad-A-Bout teardrop trailers, I was informed that no one ever saw a Scad-A-Bout that was as long as mine. so I began to think about a old movie with Lucille Ball the Long Trailer. When I came upon one of these trailers I got a name plate from it, and added it to the side of my restoration project, The Trailer was a New Moon Trailer.

Dogtown Too

Dogtown has meant to me, a place where people are poor-- but happy.

Too--because it's another Dogtown.

We named our teardrop LAGRIMA and got a nice custom license plate, too. It means tear in spanish and is also the name of a lovely piece of guitar music by Francisco Tarrega.

Mine is called "The Woodyard" after the sweetest girl I ever knew, that was her last name. It's sort of like naming a boat, Forrest Gump style. It is also a Woody, so the reference to the wood gave it a personality of it's own beyond the initial inspiration.

New Moon is a great name, it reminds me of the name of Cutter's sword in the Elfquest series. I am sure no one knows what I am talking about, but it is a great name to me because of that!
