I filled out the poll, I'm toying with the idea of doing a woody for my next build. As far as a TX gathering, should we try for Inks Lake again? Possibly next Spring? There is also Bastrop which is kinda centrally located.

:D Thanks so much for posting in. Wow, so far 14 TDs and 3 planners. Thats great.
We really need to come up with a little gathering somewhere. I'll have to let the you guys figure out a good place to go. I have no idea where a good place would be. :?
I should be finished with mine this summer, so spring sounds good to me. When do you other guys expect to be finished?
You planners, if you need help, feel free to ask questions.

Yes, Yes, Yes, let's do it in the Fall. LCG is in October, so how about November sometime?

Sounds good to me. November is usually still quite mild.

...since this thread is for "Texans" only, I suppose the rest of us SCTd'rs can't attend   ;) ............ 8)

p.s. that 's OK...y'all come on over to the LCGII and I will still feed ya gumbo and meat pies.......MJ

p.p.s. the weekend after Thanksgiving would be a good one...you could do a tacky trailer trash christmas decorations theme...like those SE boyz do........MJ

Hey Jack, This thread sort of got off topic of Texas teardrops to a Texas gathering, but in no way is the Texas gathering( if we do get one organized) to be for Texas teardropers only. Everyone will be invited, but again that is if we get one organized.

I just read over that, and I think it makes sence? :?

Anyway, if we get it organized, you will be invited as well as anyone else that wants to come. :)

OK, I think we have done way too much hijacking on Dooner's thread, and I have started a new thread about the proposed gathering in the South Central forum. Please post your comments/desires about the gathering there. :)
