I collect unmatched socks! I usually add to my collection every laundry day. I used to throw them out, but I would always find the mate the next week. Now I save them, and never find the mates!

I've managed to fill every spare space in my house in the last 25 years, so my coffee mug collection, tin collection, and book collection have all been packed up and stored in my attic.

Someone has already said this, but now all I have room to collect is memories. They take up so little space.

Oh, Paul! You reminded me of something! I collect socks, too! I tie a knot in any sock that gets a hole in it and stuff it in a big coffee can in the garage. Then, I use them for staining "pads" whenever I need I stain the rough-finished fence or anything else.

I have been guilty of collecting almost everything...I LOVE auctions. Having said that I was recently limited to just one collection...so I chose something that I know will be very hard to find...vintage 1880-1960 glass embalming fluid bottles. They are out there but few people even realize what they have since many of them are very cool looking. One manufacturers bottles even look like the Empire State Building.

I've decided after a lot of years that other people collecting is great. Me collecting (like shot glasses) just has no end and has to be dusted.

I now avoid any type of collections. I still have 4 one gallon glass jars of match books starting from 1945 or so... Some day, I may go look at them.. my favorite is from an old time garage featuring a very curvacious young femme fetal... sans clothing. That one I'll keep.

In the last couple years, I started collecting books, read about a book or two a month and when I'm done I throw them in a box and can't get rid of them as I might re-read them, thought of giving them to Goodwill or something, but haven't done it yet. Also collect bottle openers and churchkeys, not a huge collection, around 20 or so.

I collect key chains. Started when I was about 8 or so and have just kept going.

More recently I decided to collect $1 chips from every casino I visit. I figure that collection won't get too large!
