Jimmy Buffett... He was much of the inspiration for the Pirate theme of my teardrop.

I-pod on shuffle. It plays a little of everything and keeps you on your toes. There is nothing like going from Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys, to a Chopin Sonata followed by Lenny Kravitz. Varity is the spice of life.

I like contemporary Christian tunes if they're done well. Some good Spirit-filled praise music lifts me up. I used to produce and host and an hour long Access TV show here in Austin that showcased Christian music videos. Most of the major Christian music producers sent me videos to air pretty regularly. I had hundreds of music videos of which only about 30 to 40 percent were worth listening to. Other than that I am still drawn occasionally to artists on Austin City Limits. Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Eagles were some recent viewings. Bluegrass tickles my ear pretty good too. Mostly though while working on the camper I just listened to whatever was goin' on in my head which would be interupted regularly by curious questions and "look what I made dad" comments from my little one. And "dinner's ready" is real music to my ears. ;)

I just discovered a good one...
Artist: Medwyn Goodall
CD: Medicine Woman III The Rising (ISBN 1-904595-18-9)
Favorite Tracks: #2 Farewell to the Darkness, #5 Divinity

If I could describe the experience of what it's like to be in a grove of ancient redwood trees by yourself, just you and nature with music, it would be with this cut; Divinity...

I found a sampler to #2...

With 3 kids in the house all under 6  it is nice to hear myself think when I am in the garage. It is usually just me and the cat and she doesnt have much to say about anything and we get along just fine.
