Most of us by now have gone to an trailer event.

What do you see as what you like and would like to share, for those future events.

For me, it's seeing the other trailers and also for the social aspect. I camp solo and I'm committed to go out at least once every month. The events give me a chance to meet other people, see other trailers and not just go to a campground and hang out.

Same here , driving and camping single... so it's nice to have other campers (now friends) to meet up with and camp alongside. Living single, I have enough quiet time and solitude at home but am too social, so finding the teardrop trailer world and the people of South Central, that gives me a great little vacation just about every month of the year.

And being a single WOMAN makes it more secure feeling too, knowing who I'm camping near and having friends around should something go wrong.

The thing I look for in a gathering now is what I'm parking on. If my camp site is nothing more than a parking lot spot  with just a small patch of grass behind it you can count me out!! Gatherings always cost more than a reg camping weekend and i can camp in a parking spot at home for free.

I try to go to as many trailer gatherings as possible ! It doesn't matter WHAT the camp spots are like.. it's the PEOPLE fer me ! I also do a lot of solo campin and when I travel, I always stay in the trailer rather than in a hotel. I'm a very sociable kinda guy, but I also like solitude and the wilderness.

I have not found that the gatherings are more expensive than regular camping, if fact, just the opposite. The Teardroppers of Oregon and Washington really know how to pull off well thought out events. Thanks fellow TOW members!
