 Very interesting.

86% of us are over 35 years old. My theory, is younger folks are too busy starting carrers, buying thier homes, having kids, etc.

I think part of it is because a teardrop is basically for 2 people so younger people are looking at bigger units. Its just us empty nesters that look at small units.

I'm 53 also.

As a newbie, I read the posts and get the feeling that a fair number of the members have enjoyed camping for a number of years but our bones don't relish the idea of sleeping on the ground in a tent any longer.

Huh...I was wondering how to set up a poll to find out this information for myself, then I found your poll. I was also wondering how many my age were into building trailers. The only one I was sure was my age or older was Roly.

Oh yeah...I'll be 67 on Jan 1. I did a lot of camping in the 60s and 70s, some in the 80s, then dropped out. It's time to start again, but not on the ground like I once did. I want a comfortable mattress, a roof over my head, an air conditioner and TV.

42 but don't tell anyone....

When people would ask how old I was, I used to tell them.
Now I just ask them "How old do I look?" or "What do you think?"

So don't cheat and tell them... I'm 42. People usually guess around 37, 38 or so , so I usually just reply "... hmmm Good Guess!"

Funny you should ask the first time that I looked at this poll. My brother and I turn 60 today. Teardrop experience began 52 years ago with our dads' Cabin Car & '53 Willys Aero hardtop sedan. 8) Fred - the worlds farthest North teardrop builder.
