I was in a different site and I listed 2 motel restraunts well known in my area and a must see tour place.

And I downed on me we all have these, sites on the net that others might find of interest as they travel through your area!!

I will gather some for my town and my county and my state.
these will be place I like to go.
I have several members that live in my area town, county, and Central Coast that have their favorites, maybe ones I never new of.

As we travel this might be the place to come to see what is ahead that we might like to see!

Unforturnatly there will be no order and it will be like the library the day after the wind storm or earthquake so you have lots to look at.

For starts I live in California in the county of San luis Obispo.

bere is the site for the county

I will add more as I get a group of sites to gether.

Not every one knows about this site but many have sites to offer. look on the world map and see who is in your area that you are going and ask if they can offer som eits that you ight pass near. This will also get a chance to meet TTT members as you drive through.

On my NM trip I almost caught up to Emiller and 'cory but I did get to corispond with them .
(it would be nice if this site had a spell check.

This Poll did answer on question do other folks have sites of there areas.
Yes
but none were left

That said if you are traveling in areas go to the travel areas at the bottom of the forum and go into that sector and click on the states you are going through and email folks in that area or see what meets are on and we will all find our way better and meet a whole bunch of great folks too.

Thanks all ;)

When you are in Pennsylvania, Roadside America is a must see.
www.roadsideamericainc.com. This was one of THEE destinations for field trips when I was just a lad. Long, long time ago

While traveling Louisiana, try to make it down to Avery Island, home of TABASCO.

This is one of our favorite places to visit. The island is actually a salt dome, pushed up thousands of years ago in the low lands. It's surrounded by marsh and waterways. The Botanical Gardens of Avery Island are spectacular, especially this time of year.
