Nevermind. I not only just read the thread, but I realize that what I was thinking is just your American Voyager blown up a bit in size...
I like jdark's big teardrop on dual axles as a profile basis for a sto0py... and I like Grant's idea.

Thanks all for your replies....the plan is to draw up a "box" for the length and height and fit in a profile I like. I can build out the interior to what I want as long as I make it wide enough for me to lay down in. It's going to be maybe a cross, but leaning HEAVILY towards a canned ham type. Currently working on vintage marmoleum colors for the flooring, (checking availablility) and other appropriate vintage type interior surfaces and accessories. I gotta put my color cards together, thinking about teal with white and a dark teal accent. Probably a mid to late 50's appearance, which would leave out the bread box design. Thing is Cliff....the garage height dictates a lot of the design, so that is going to kill a trolley top on this build. I'd love to do something more out of control, but have no desire to modify either the garage door header or the storage shed to get it in and out once completed. It will be something that will go in and out of the garage quite a bit, and don't want to hassle with pressure on the tires, or removing them etc....and that's part of the challenge for me anyway. It will be built on a dolly, but afterwards...it's just gotta go in and out with no hassle. Better for resale anyways.
I just finished up the final profile and interior layout tonight. It's heavily influenced by the Serro Scotty, and some hint of a Metz....all in a 50's color and accessory theme, I got a whole lotta windows in it. Hopefully it will have great street appeal and with the accessories I have in mind will give a great campground presentation. I blame all this on Steve E and his restoration of his Scotty....his trailer is just awesome! Doug
