Whats going on my friend? the mini hopper still georgia? What are you going for Georgia residency

Yea kind of. I've got an old white double axle trailer up there for hauling that we are converting the front part into a camper also. Going to have both under a shed so we don't get rained on when we are up there. Got a lot of work to do up there. Building a mini-cabin up there over the next year. Something like purple pickup did.

:( tear is definitely still in the dreaming stage, however if you got a gathering in state (preferrably in the middle) I would do my best to attend

How Many Teardrops in Florida

Postby Grandadeo » Sun May 08, 2005 11:30 pm

With my Grant supplied Ken-Skill profile in hand I hope to be starting on my frame very soon so I guess I'm still in the planning stage. On my annual trip to LA next month would like to hook up with some tear owners and hit a couple of tear and RV related shops. My suggestion for FLA gathering spots would include some of the State Parks with natural springs for swimming/relaxing like Blue Springs in Orange City or tie a gathering to some of the state festivals such as strawberry, corn, arts/crafts, etc. and there's always the Suwannee River area camp ground that has several music festivals throughout the year. If your wondering how my avatar is teardrop related, you can see my trailer hitch ball at the middle of the spreader bar in the back that will pull my tear - if I keep the weight reasonable.

That is the reason for the poll. To find out where everyone is located at to plan the gatherings for maxium participation and fun , with or without a teardrop

:applause: I actually live in St. Pete but I have a brother in Palm Beach and parents currently in Ocala so near any of these would be easiest for me.

Except for the panhandle, you've pretty much got the state covered.

 I actually lived just north of Jacksonville (in Ga.) for 15 years so I've got friends I could stay with there as well! From Tallahassee west would be the hardest 8) ;)

I have a 1947 Aluminum Trailer Co. teardrop that needs restored. It is usable and "fairly" dry inside, but I would definately be slumming it at the camp ground. I hope to get it restored or at least presentable so I won't be ashamed to use it.
