Just for fun:

Out of all the cookies, which one is your favorite? Got this list from girlscoutcookies.org I've never heard of some of them.

My daughter was a girl scout so I had to deal with this a lot. It's a big pain in the @ss. My favorite was the stripped short bread and they discontinued it. So I pulled her from the girl scouts. I'll show them.

Actually, she changed schools and I'm done with this for now.

My favorites (in order) are:

1. Thin Mints
2. Tagalongs aka Peanut Butter Patties
3. Do-Si-Dos aka Peanut Butter Sandwich
4. Lemonades or Lemon Chalet Cremes

I buy multiple boxes and put them in the freezer. Then I TRY to make them last the year.

Thin Mints.

I have to keep them in the freezer. They seem to last a little longer that way.

I love them but I'm also glad they don't sell them all year round. Too much enjoyment (in this case) is not a good thing. :(

Kebler makes a grass hopper cookie that taste almost exactly like a thin mint.

8) I'm a fan of mint....especially peppermint patties, Junior Mints, and my most favorite......Campfire Girl mints, which I sold a LOT of as a girl. I buy the Girl Scout thin mints now since I'm not an official Campfire Girl any longer. You can take the girl away from the campfire, but you'll never take the fire out of this gal!

Notice the cookies are getting smaller. Within 5 years they'll be the size of your fingernail.

Incredible shrinking cookies

That is true,... over the years the cookies have been shrinking. Now it is possible that they just seem smaller as I have goten larger [when I was 22 I weighed 150 and was 6ft tall and wore a 29 in pants,...now I am 33, weigh 220, stll 6ft tall, and wear a 36 in pants] but I do indeed doubt that cause not only are are the cookies smaller but they also package less of them in a box,...I call FOUL,... Bad Form,... and dirty tricks,...but I must still say I cannot resist the cookies. I do avoid the shopping areas during cookie season because down here most of the Cookie Dealers come across in a way that just does not seem proper for a Girl Scout [bad attitudes, almost club girl makeup and clothes (sometimes under their GirlScout uniform and sometimes they are not even wearing their uniform), and lack of respect for people] so I will not buy from them,..instead I purchase from families that I know personally,.....

It'd be cool if they sold a pin for $10 or so that says something like "Already bought my share of cookies". That way, if they see you wearing the pin they'll know not to bother you. I'd buy one for sure.

Tag Alongs are my first pick.....What an appropriate name...They definitely TAG ALONG..........One year I bought a few boxes and figured if put in the freezer I would move on them slower. I'll be darned if soon I found out that I liked them better frozen!!!!!!!! What can ya do!!!
Kevins Chocolate Chippers are right up there with them too....Yummmmmmm......... Patty

My daughter was in Girl Scouts for 9 years and I was a leader the whole time. I was more than glad to be done with selling cookies. A parent/s were supposed to be in charge of sales. As with all volunteers some are more capable than others. Some created more problems than anything. :?

Though I must say I met some very nice people going around selling with my daughter and many people looked forward to getting cookies.

Thin mints are my favorite, but I generally don't buy them as I can't resist them. This year I bought some Thank U Berry Much / cranberry & white chocolate chip for my daughter & they were good. Also got a box of Dulce de Leche which are like chocolate chip but the chips are more like caramel chips and they were good too.

Some varieties of cookies definitely have fewer cookies than others.
