I set a goal to camp every month in 2010, but I have not camped in July... yet. It's been too stinking hot to enjoy camping around here this month.

So, if I sleep in my TD one night in the driveway, do you think that should count toward my goal?

Will it count if I cook and eat outside that evening before sleeping in the TD?

I'd say as long as you don't allow yourself to retreat to the air conditioned comfort of the house, yes. Ya have to rough it a bit to really be camping, right?

I have my camper out on the driveway today, air conditioner on... just in case I need a "camping experience" later.

Driveway camping counts the same way as backyard camping
If you are out of the house, it's camping
My wife has done it with the dog just to get her used to the trailer
