P.S. Something really sad. I own a camping trailer that has never traveled.

8) No time like the present! If it moved it traveled.

M,

It once moved 0.9 miles. Here it sits unfinished...in the cold.

Meanwhile, I'm lusting after this:

...except I would build my own (cuz I'm nutz) and I'd shorten it and put the hitch on the other end for better air flow off the tail.

Just put the hitch on the other side, and call it a limo teardrop!

DON'T feed into that guys ignorance. Jus because it hazn't hit the road, doesn't mean it ain't a "travel" trailer.

A boat is STILL a boat wether or not it has ever seen water...

A rose, by ANY other name is STILL a rose...

Cliff,

You're right! It does look like a limo!
And it's beautiful.

You hear elitist sorts of thinking in all sorts of places. Nancy and I are thinking of attending one of the iRV events (mostly BIG RV's) what do you want to bet ours gets most of the attention. There is a thread on that forum concerning the increasing cost of fuel (what happens when it hits $5), quite entertaining.

Per Mike as stated in Wikipedia

A travel trailer or caravan is towed behind a road vehicle to provide a place to sleep which is more comfortable and protected than a tent (although there are fold-down trailer tents).[1][2] It provides the means for people to have their own home on a journey or a vacation, without relying on a motel or hotel, and enables them to stay in places where none is available.

Sounds like they are on our side !

"that a travel trailer is something commercially produced"

 Hmmm... Using that line of logic, then the chopper I built in the late seventies (& still own) from many custom components, is not a motorcycle. And my friend who built an electric car from scratch does not have an automobile...... My God!!! What do we have?!?!

Wood floats, ducks float, ergo, I guess ducks really are made of wood then

Sorry guys for my twisted sense of humour, I am weak & sometimes I can't resist the bait.... ;) :R

A boat is only a boat if it floats.

if it isn't shaped like a teardrop,then it is a tiny travel trailer (T T T).
