My TD isn't ready but I've been useing my 1971 Mercedes Benz 220D to pull the unfinished trailer. Will be useing my 2003 Volkswagon Jetta TDI when I get a hitch installed.

2002 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, 4 cylinder, 2.5L engine. The trailer is about 750 lbs empty and probably around 900 loaded. The car does surprisingly well pulling it. We averaged 22 mpg while towing the trailer, and we normally get 25-27 mpg without.

I'm getting a hitch put on my Audi A4 next week. Not every day you see an Audi with a receiver. I hope it doesn't cause any waranty fights. :(

But -- I also work for a car magazine, so I plan to get some press trucks and SUV's for some trips. There are a few of the new small SUVs and Crossovers I want to try out with the camper.
