Great reading and love the pictures. I will be towing my 4 wide Little Guy Econo with my 07 Beetle, soon as I get a hitch put on.

Technically since I am still building, I pull it with nothing... However, I will be pulling it with my PT Cruiser Convertible.

The teardrop was painted to match the CRV...which tows it just fine...
Image

but...here's our newest project...a 1962 Rambler Ambassador 400!!
Image

It's in amazing shape...the 400 trim pkg has everything including factory air...which still works!! No rust...a 327 V-8 that will tow the tear just fine!!
Most importantly...it has the classic Rambler front seats...which fold down flat with the back seat into a bed...perfect for on the road with the grandsons! We'll paint it to match and we'll be all set...maybe in time for IRG!

Need to put a 350 in that thing and really make it a nice puller Doug. Keep the hood down and no body will ever know. But don't throw away the stock engine. ;)

I do enjoy seeing tiny cars pulling tiny trailers out on the road, however rockhounding requires goiing thru some pretty tuff terrain, so I needed something a bit larger.

However, in the garage sits a 64 Econoline pickup with a 289 in the engine bay (project)[/img]

That is another one of my projects. We have created clones of me and my wife to carry on after us. Be warned though, they are terribly messy, and cost a fortune in upkeep! 8)
