but unlike all the "free" stuff, state fuel taxes are used to fix roads and bridges, at least in more honest states, the US govt. thinks it is just fine to take fuel taxes and build light rail and rail trails with it....not highways/bridges :x

well petrol just dropped to NZ $2 a litre for the first time in years
(NZ$1 = 85 USc)
so thats approx NZ$9 a gallon
(US$ 7 gallon)

here in Holland we pay about 7$/gallon aswel, diesel goes for 5,5$/gallon. a month ago we payed almost a buck a gallon more.

Devil and the deep blue sea here. I work at a Cat dealer, there is more money in gas/oil, than construction. Guess where their efforts are. It has already slowed down, layoffs are right around the corner. ( the blood ran deep in '82/'83, dread to ever go through that again) So I guess 5 bucks to go to a job, verses 2 bucks to start hunting..... :thinking:

One of the good things of a teardrop is good mileage regardless of the price of gas.
