I'm 5'5" and I always take the tarp OFF my 10x10 and store it in a camp chair bag. The "shake" part of the set up proceedure is paramount ! I leave the leg extensions IN while setting up the cover.Usually takes jus a few minutes to git it set up and always done SOLO. I've never had any trouble with set up or tear down. I also keep the side panels and sum rope in a seperate camp chair bag. A place fer everythin and everthin in its place !

I posted earlier in this thread .. but didn't actually READ all the previous posts. I missed the single person "trick" of standing underneath, in the middle and pushing up to spread those legs out. I'm going to have to try that the next time I put one up by myself. Usually I can grab a friend, or have a companion with me ... and two people is all you really need to make it easy ... but there are times when I have to do it myself.

I find setting up is easy, tearing down is the hard part.
