Should the Avatars be on the right, like the new style, or on the left, like the old style?

What are your thoughts?

i like them better on the left. Just seems easier and more natural to see who is posting something. JMOYMMV!

On the left please, and is there any way to delineate between posts more? I'm having trouble telling where one person's post ends and another begins. The color change in the background is just too subtle for me.

I have always been interested in photographic composition and different cultures and basically it is related to how we write. In English it is from left to right and center of interest is usually in the lower right. Japanese it is often in the upper left, related to reading direction. Our eyes are not accustomed to start gathering information i.e. posters avatar on the right. Mike, I wanted to give a logical reason why some/most would be more comfortable with it on the left.

One of the more aggravating items from the old forum software was large pictures or long url's forcing a horizontal scrollbar to see all of the content and access controls. I haven't seen that since the update. If avatars on the right are what's preventing the wide screens I'm 100% in favor of the change. Otherwise, I'm pretty indifferent. It's just a matter of what you are used to.

I just have to add Mike, I really like the alternating colors. It really makes reading much easier. Thanks for that.

I think they look fine on the right, BUT I like them better on the left. I like being able to see who is posting, before I read the post... if that makes any sense.

Left all the way. Even Joey is thinking the Left and he never agree's with Pepper. Well almost never, if it comes to the Park or a good treat they seem to agree.

So left all the way...

I live on the left coast, so....Left!
